Question: Is it really true that a lot of celebrities hang out in Larchmont Village?

Answer:  Larchmont is part of Los Angeles, and as such, celebrities can be spotted strolling along Larchmont Boulevard almost as often as, say, at the Grove by CBS / Fairfax Avenue / 3rd Street.


In late May, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was spotted with new girlfriend Lulu Parker at Chevalier's Books. The mayor's official residence is in nearby Windsor Sqaure and he reportedly visits the the Sunday farmers' market in Larchmont from time to time.

George Takei (Sulu on Star Trek) lives in the Hancock Park area and keeps a postal office box for his company at the Village Mail-Call where it's said that he picks up his own mail.

International boxer Manny Pacquiao reportedly arrived at his new Hancock Park home on September 13, 2009.
