Coconut-Shell Box at Kahbala in Larchmont


I visited Kahbala when they opened in October and was very impressed with the design of the store and of course their selection of jewelry and home furnishings (video clip). The lamps, paintings, and red-coral necklaces and rings were really eye-catching. In mid-December, they newly featured decorative boxes, picture frames, and mirror holders made from coconut shells as the predominant material as in the picture above.

And they also just introduced vases of different sizes including this gigantic one!

Paintings, small furniture and lamps such as the ones seen in the background have been a mainstay in Kahbala since the shop opened in late October. 

Their focus is mostly Central and South American, but they have an eclectic collection, including Asian and African influences.
