BabyCakes NYC in Los Angeles is looking for a full-time counter person for their soon-to-open Larchmont location.

They're hoping to hit the ground running, so they're hiring staff to train at their Downtown location for eight weeks prior to their grand opening.

Duties include frosting cupcakes, putting finishes on baked goods, cleaning (they have very high standards for cleanliness!), using their POS system to ring up customers and maintaining a working knowledge of their rotating menu of allergy-friendly baked goods. Compensation is $8.50.

They're a tight-knit team looking for a quick, friendly, hardworking individual with open availability and solid restaurant or cafe experience. Shifts are from either 7:00-3:00 or 2:30 to 11:00 seven days a week.

In October 2010, a health inspector visited Twirl and found five violations. She had 29 pounds of yogurt thrown out for being at a temperature too risky for human consumption. Twirl was closed for business until red-tagged malfunctioning machines were fixed.
