Services: Preparing customized medications to meet the specific needs of patients and practitioners. Their compounding centers are staffed by pharmacists and certified and licensed pharmacy technicians who are specially trained in the art and science of compounding.

Compounding may involve flavoring, making the medicine into a different delivery system such as a liquid instead of a pill, preparing the prescription dye-free, sugar-free, or preservative free, compounding an eye drop in a sterile compounding lab, preparing medications for veterinarians, providing personalized hormone therapy and custom-tailoring medication not commercially available.

History: The Apothecary Shops were founded in 1996 as a single pharmacy located in Scottsdale, Arizona.  They now have physical locations throughout Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Utah and California.
