Today at Le Pain Quotidien: split pea soup (vegan) and loaded potato soup (with bacon and cheddar). They have $1 organic coconut macaroons! Open to 7 pm.

Núñez at Above the Fold

You can find Núñez almost everyday at the Above the Fold newsstand in Larchmont.

He's originally from Oaxaca, and he also works at an eatery up the street as a busser.

June 2010: German tourist Hanne, a LarchmontLA follower on Twitter who was visiting Los Angeles for the first time, was trying to contact the site manager using the payphone near the newsstand. Núñez noticed she couldn't get the thing to work, so he took out his cellphone for her to use! Must pay him back for the minutes :)
