San Francisco's famous raw/vegan eatery opened on March 2nd (Wednesday) at the Rios Clementi Hale building, near the corner of Larchmont and Melrose.

What makes the place so meaningful is that the people are earnestly nice, and affirmations are associated with each menu item! 

The BLT sandwich is called I AM EXTRAORDINARY while the the Caesar salad comes with the affirmation I AM DAZZLING. The hazelnut milk smoothie is I AM LUSCIOUS.

Café Gratitude owners Matthew and Terces Englehart had created a board game, which somehow turned into a café where people could play the game. There are seven locations in Northern California. This Larchmont location is the very first in Southern California.
